Your Ferry Pilot, Brian Smith:
Brian has been flying since he was 17 when he first gained a pilot's licence. During an 18 year career in the RAF, flying for 12 of those, he flew jet trainers, turbine helicopters in the troop support role, both with the RAF and Royal Navy, and instructed on the Shorts Tucano. In his subsequent civilian career, he has flown worldwide on charter, low cost, legacy and cargo operations on Boeing 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777 aircraft, for companies as diverse as First Choice/Air 2000, Emirates, Ryanair and One Air. He retains his commercial licence on the 737 conducting ferry or delivery flights through Six West Aviation.
Your Ferry Pilot, Sean Averre:
Sean gained his Private Pilot's Licence when he was 17 and quickly pursued his dream of flying commercially. Upon graduating he secured his first job flying the B737 with Ryanair, where he flew all over continental Europe and also qualified as a Type Rating Instructor in the simulator. He subsequently moved to cargo operations where he flies the 747 as First Officer, predominantly in the Far East, including mainland China, and Hong Kong, and also the Middle East.
Your Operations Specialist, Scott Bird:
Scott has also been working in aviation since the age of 17, collaborating with a wide range of commercial, charter, military, diplomatic and business operators. From C172's to AN225's, Scottt has experience with a wide variety of aircraft and their specific operational needs. This includes extensive knowledge of ground handling, fuel, overflight/landing permits, trip support, and flight planning throughout the world.
Your account manager, Traceylee Gaskin:
Traceylee has a long and distinguished career in HR including several years' experience gained at an independent MRO in South Wales, bringing strong commercial and corporate expertise to aviation programme management. Within her role at SkyFerry Aviation she oversees client interfaces, financial control, and operational processes, ensuring disciplined delivery and regulatory alignment for the client.
